Not a Bad Life

He lay on the pebbled beach
With his black model girlfriend
Absorbing the late afternoon Corfu sun
And contemplated whether
To swim out to one of the buoys
In the clear deep blue water
Or go and get a drink
From the nearby restaurant

"I'm going to get a drink
Would you like something?" he asked
"Fanta," she replied

He got up
Put on his sandals and t-shirt
And slowly walked towards
The restaurant

Sunbathing just outside the restaurant
Was a slim Greek girl who was completely naked
Apart from a little dish-towel
Covering her private parts
Wow! He thought
She is hot in more ways than one

Returning with the drinks
He lay back down in the sun
Looked at the perfect shape
Of his girlfriends body
Before looking at the calm
Mediterranean Sea
Noting a yacht putting up its sail
On the horizon
Sailing... he could get into that, he thought
As he closed his eyes
Listened to the small waves wash the pebbles
And wondered where they would
Go for dinner tonight
